Pinewood has the most SCISA Master Teachers!

What is a SCISA Master Teacher? A SCISA Master Teacher is one who exhibits best practices and inspires excellence in the classroom, among colleagues, and especially, among students. The requirements to become a Master Teacher are extensive. The first and most important being that the nominees must have a master’s degree and five years of experience in the classroom, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of ten years in the classroom along with multiple other qualifications set forth by SCISA.

Pinewood now has a total of 39 Master Teachers, more than double of any other school within SCISA's network of 120 schools.

"We are honored to have the most teachers recognized by the prestigious SCISA Master Teacher selection Committee. Such academic excellence is at the very heart of what we offer to our beloved Pinewood families.” - Dr. Daniel Seiden, Head of School
