Pinewood has the most SCISA Master Teachers!
The SCISA Master Teacher Program began in 2005 to recognize outstanding educators who use effective classroom practices and share their expertise with colleagues.
Candidates must have either a master’s degree and at least five years of classroom experience or a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of classroom experience. They must also meet additional SCISA requirements, including a review of their teaching and professional work.
Since the program began, 45 Pinewood teachers have earned the SCISA Master Teacher designation. We are proud of their contributions to Pinewood and to the wider teaching community.
