Welcome to Pinewood

Something special is happening at Pinewood. Here, you will find a safe and healthy learning environment where students embrace both the rigor, and joy, that comes with a first-class education in a small relational setting.

We take pride in our outstanding faculty, with more than twice the number of Master Teachers than any other independent school in the state. We are also honored to be recognized as the top local independent school, as well as one of the best places to work - happy and engaged educators translate into positive outcomes for young people.

While accolades are humbling, we believe there is so much more to the Pinewood experience. The challenging curriculum incorporates elements of progressive STEAM education while also embracing foundational concepts inherent in the humanities. It’s cool to be smart, to work hard, and to try new things - and this is a culture we certainly love to foster at Pinewood.

Beyond the classroom, we take care of one another. Manners matter at Pinewood. Social and emotional intelligence is of paramount importance. In short, high standards abound. Our adults support the students each and every step of the way, facilitating meaningful conversations and healthy relationships.

I hope that your family will take a look at Pinewood and see if we are the right choice for you. If you ever have questions about all that Pinewood has to offer, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Respectfully,
